KEY SCRIPTURES: Acts 14:22-23; Acts 1:8; Philippians 3:13-14
MAIN IDEA: The Church moves forward by appointing leaders and sharing the mission.
- Paul and Barnabas appointed elders to guide the church forward in mission and vision.
- Vision cannot thrive unless Spirit-led leaders are put into place.
- Jesus made the mission clear – “You will be My witnesses” (Acts 1:8).
- Also, the mission scope is clear – global, local, and personal.
- Vision and mission require tremendous focus, such that we are “forgetting what is behind… pressing on… toward the goal” (Phil. 3:13–14).
- The church must deal with the past and release it, in order to seize God’s future.
- We can move forward in Jesus’ name.
