Hello friends, I am Satish Kumar, born and raised in a Hindu family, but I became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age of 15 as I witnessed my parents’ spiritual journey to faith in Jesus Christ. I was raised in India and had the privilege of traveling across many parts of the country, which helped develop in me a deep love for travel and an appreciation for different cultures. Came to US in 2003 as a student at Westminister Theological Seminary in Philly, PA. My wife, Anitha, was born and raised in Bangalore, India, and we are blessed with two children—our son, Johan, and our daughter, Janice. Together we love to serve the body of Christ to the best of our abilities standing in the grace of our Lord Jesus. One of my passions has always been reading, and another is driving. If I were not pastoring today, I would probably be driving an 18-wheeler! I love people deeply and desire to serve the body of Christ, longing to see a generation raised for His glory. I carry a strong burden to equip God’s people for the work of ministry. I never set out with the ambition to pastor a church, but God, in His sovereign plan and providential care, entrusted me with the responsibility of shepherding His people. It has been a great joy to walk alongside people in both their joys and sorrows, sharing with them the love and care of our Lord. At the end of my life, my desire is to be remembered simply as a godly and good man who served the Lord faithfully in his generation.
